I like Overwatch, never offically a player, but enjoyed playing in the training center, very cool! What was Blizzard thinking by creating Overwatch 2 and deleting so much of the in game experience for all of their users?

I've never played. From the news, they are shutting down overwatch so they can do overwatch2. I imagine they'll get some fan comments about it.

Blizzard shut down OW yesterday and the servers are down today in preparation for OW2. It was an emotional day for so many players that have thousands of hours in the game and numerous monetary investments and the players will lose a lot of what they accomplished. Believe me, I just spent the last day of OW with a major player, that was really bummed with mixed feelings. I don't know the details like she does, but Blizzard also changed a lot of the game itself. which the theory is since no one was cuing for OW2, Blizzard decided to end OW1 period. OW2 has a more monetary investment attached to it too.

The latest about Overwatch is that there are exceptional long queue times to get into the game, and once you get queued in you may get bumped off. Probably news on the highest level of concern is about the players from OV1, no longer have their skins and other gamer data from OV1 not transferred into OV2.

Please get this fixed Blizzard! I've lived through this with Webkinz glitches and losses; can be traumatizing. I can also imagine how frustrating it is for anyone at any age in OV2.
